Sensory-Informed Coaching for Music Teachers of Autistic & ADHD Students
When a Student Isn't Ready to Learn, More Strategies May Not Be the Answer
When your autistic or ADHD student is overwhelmed, unfocused, or unable to engage, it can be hard to know what to try next.
A sensory-informed approach helps you look beneath the behavior and understand what your student may need to become calm enough to be engaged and ready to learn.
That's where I help music teachers move from guessing what to try next to making teaching decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Meet Hemdah
I'm a piano teacher, music educator, and sensory-informed coach who helps music teachers better understand and support their autistic and ADHD students.
My interest in sensory processing is also personal. As a child, I struggled with processing sounds. Loud sounds could be painful and overwhelming, and music became a place where I could feel calm and connected.
Today, I bring together decades of music teaching experience and sensory-informed training to help both students and teachers experience music learning with greater confidence and connection.
